Chez Marrone's "Change"
posted by: CME

Chez Marrone - A Week Off

Label: Independent
Genre: Beats & Instrumentals
Standout Tracks: Mindbender, The Reaper

Website: www.chezmarrone.com

With an extremely eclectic series of organic sounds and vibes Chez Marrone drops what one might call a definitive forray into the wonderful world of digital dogma. Cool in it's simplicity and dramatic in it's effect Chez has given our ears a pleasing dose of musical madness in the form of tribal beats and primal ambience.

From the moment his "Change" CD dropped we were able to determine exactly what direction Chez was set to market his ecclectic bag of tricks. Developed and masterfully produced for movies, television, video games and lyricists, Chez has tapped into the lucrative world of the intense music single and the ever vibrant beats for hire industry. Obviously a drummer by trade, Chez has managed to combine his talents for the sticks with a love and appreciation of sound in general. Bringing sampled effects together with solid beats and ambient keys has obviously had an impact on the melodic grooves and beats that this cat has graciously put on wax.

An awsome display of drumming solos and innovative sound fills as demonstrated on the kick ass track "MindBender" had us at Catsask.com seriously impressed with the array of talent Chez has displayed in this outing.

A very cool and very effective use of live drumming in tandem with digital sounds and keys gives this cat a little somethin' somethin' that we're certain many musicians would be proud to add to their talent arsenal. With all drum tracks having been recorded live we were able to truly FEEL the intense levels of work and passion that have been put into "Change".

Overall Chez has delivered an impressive display of creativity and an obvious insight into the artistic side of the depths of music creation and exploration. We really appreciate the inventiveness that you've put into your latest works Chez... We're looking forward to getting this cat on the wire so we can pick his brain and really dig into what makes him tick.
