Will Diehl and Oxfam
State College, PA, March 28, 2008 – BMI affiliated Singer-Songwriter Will Diehl has announced the presale for his new studio release Love and Motion, a CD of original music. The CD contains a mix of rock, pop, jazz and alt-country. A reviewer of one of the songs said, “I thought this song was going in one direction when it started out, and then it … took a new direction … Loved the sax. Vocals were cool too, it felt like a mix between Leonard Cohen, Bruce Springsteen, and George Thorogood.” One of the unique aspects of the process and creation of this CD is that collaboration was via the internet. Will has never met some of the musicians on this CD – and most of the tracks were recorded in the respective musicians’ home studios and then sent back and forth to Diehl. Diehl recorded the initial vocal and guitar tracks at his home studio and sent the tracks to drummer and bass player James Robinson (http://www.internetmusicproduction.com/) in Los Angeles.
